Meet a Therapist

Nathen Hacker, LCPC
Founder of Maverick Insights Counseling

Nathen has worked with teens and adults in community mental and behavioral health for several years. Nathen earned a Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Counseling in 2022 from Wichita State University.

Nathen offers counseling to individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, or other issues impacting a person's ability to function well and feel empowered in their daily life. Nathen uses his expertise in a variety of theories including cognitive behavioral therapy and existentialism to provide person centered treatment.

Nathen was inspired to establish Maverick Insights Counseling because he has seen the negative effects of closed-minded and rigid treatment on adolescents and adults. Nathen strives to offer support and to think differently about issues outside of mainstream ideals. Nathen believes that sometimes a person just needs a non-judgmental ear to help them walk through life and offer support.

Nathen currently accepts the following types of insurance:
Aetna, BlueCross and BlueShield, Centene, Healthy Blue, Medicaid, Medicare, MultiPlan, Optum, ProvDRsCare, Sunflower Health Plan, United Healthcare.

Nathen also accepts private pay clients.

Hey, I'm Jaclyn Williams.

I’m currently completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling at Northwestern University, expected in June 2026. My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Wichita State University.

Throughout my professional journey, whether supporting students in schools, mentoring young adults, or responding to youth in crisis, my focus has remained steady: creating spaces where people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe that lasting change begins when we’re met with empathy, not judgment, and when we’re invited to explore what lies beneath the surface of behaviors and struggles. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, attachment, and collaboration. I work with children, adolescents, and families to build connection and trust, uncover core needs, and gently explore pathways toward healing. I draw from training in mindfulness, trauma, crisis response, conflict resolution, and youth mental health to offer practical tools, supportive resources, and a grounded presence. I also welcome faith-based perspectives into the therapeutic process for those who desire it, recognizing the importance of spiritual identity as a source of strength, meaning, and healing. I’m committed to honoring each individual’s unique values and beliefs in a way that fosters hope, acceptance, and growth. I believe in meeting each person where they are, with compassion, curiosity, and hope, and walking alongside them as they grow into greater self-acceptance, resilience, and wholeness.
